1.>Due to Spywares or trojans "folder options","task manager" ,"regedit","run",or "command prompt" gets disabled.

*  Open group policies(gpedit.msc from run)
in user configuration>>administrative templates>>system>>ctl+alt+del options...
see that it is not configured...or try to enable it.
(There are many more things that we can see and thus can use when required in "Administrative Templates")

*If all the above are disabled :make them work by :Download and run this

2.>Yahoo Messenger  Multi login:
regedit>>HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>Software>>Yahoo>>Pager>>Test
now on right window..right click and create a new DWORD value..name it "plural"...modify its binary value to "1"

3.>Download videos from YouTube and Google Videos.
Copy the url (from the address bar of the page of videos)and paste in http://keepvid.com.click download...a download link will come...then click it.
When downloading completes..rename the file with .flv extension.Play with vlc player.(If not playing..convert to .avi using Total Video Convertor

4>Hide files and folder in an image(no need of softwares):
*Gather all the files that you wish to hide in a folder anywhere in your PC (make it in C:hidden ).
 Now, add those files in a RAR archive (e.g. secret.rar). This file should also be in the same directory (C:hidden).
 Now, look for a simple JPEG picture file (e.g. my.jpg). Copy/Paste that file also in C:hidden.
Now, open Command Prompt. Make your working directory C:hidden.
 Now type: “COPY /b my.jpg + secret.rar output.jpg”
 output.jpg is the file which contains(my.jpg+secret.rar...but only the jpeg image is visible).
 Open the output.jpg with WinRAR, it will show the hidden archive .

a>Error 'Generic Host Process For Win32 Services' when connected to the internet:download and install xp sp2 update from here

b>"Volume Control" missing(even from control panel):do the following:
* insert xp cd..
*in command prompt make working directory the cd drive(eg. h:)
*cd i386 (then it becomes H:>i386)
*then type: expand -r sndvol32.ex_ %systemroot%system32

**Tips to increase performance of computer(having O.S. XP):

*Type"regedit" in run and reach:

1.> HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>control panel>>desktop:(now right side of window):

a>"AutoEndTasks" modify its value to "1"(default "0")
b>"HungAppTimeout" modify its value to "300"
c>"MenuShowDelay" value to "80".
d>"WaitToKillAppTimeout" to 400.

2.a>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>System>>currentcontrolset>>control
"WaitToKillService" to 1000

2b>HKEY_USERS>>.DEFAULT>>Control Panel>>DeskTop
a>"AutoEndTasks" modify its value to "1"(default "0")
b>"HungAppTimeout" modify its value to "300"
c>"MenuShowDelay" value to "80".
d>"WaitToKillAppTimeout" to 400.

5.>Make the setting for "Internet Temporary Files" and "Browsing History" to minimum.(1 MB for IE6,8MB for IE7)
*Defragment hard drives once a month.

6.>Remove unwanted files and applications from computer and also from startup.(use "msconfig" or tuneup startup manager)


**Tips to increase performance of internet(Use both Firefox and IE7):

1.a>In Run type "gpedit.msc" Goto:
Local Computer Policy>>Computer Configuration>>Administrative Templates>>Network>>QOS Packet Scheduler
(Now see in right window):"Limit Reservable Bandwidth"
"Enable" it(default "not configured" and "20%") make its value "0%"

2.>Merge following registry enteries to make net a bit fast.
Registry entries (Also use TuneUp to optimize)

3.>Speed ur Mozilla firefox:
Type "about:config" in address bar and change following(right clicking on the entries):
*network.http.max-connections = 64
*network.http.max-connections-per-server =32
*network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy =16
*network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server= = 10
* network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
 *network.http.pipelining = true
 *network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200
 *network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0
* network.http.proxy.version = 1.0

4.>Install Firefox addon(to block unneccesary flash ads...also block it by right clicking and blocking):flash block

5.>To get rid of trojans and spywares:use Spyware Doctor(30 days version)

6.>Antivirus:
Use NOD32 [best for Comp. having RAM 256MB or less] or Kaspersky

7.>Using LAN ethernet:
Follow these steps:
Open the System Information tool by running MSINFO32.EXE from the Run
Expand System Summary > Hardware Resources > IRQs.
Look for the listing made for your NIC(eg.IRQ6)
open SYSEDIT.EXE from the Run command.
Expand the system.ini file window.
Scroll down almost to the end of the file till you find a line called [386enh].
Press Enter to make one blank line, and in that line type
IrqX=4096
where X is the designated IRQ (here IRQ6)
save it.
8.>Accelerate direct downloads by using Internet Download Manager
